Polylactic acid, or PLA, is a filament that is versatile and easy to use. PLA filament starts to soften at about 140°F and has a low melting temperature of about 320-374°F. This enables it to be printed on most desktop 3D printers without a heated printing bed. PLA is unlikely to warp which means your prints will form well and stay durable.

PLA is available in various colors, enabling you to be creative in your designs. Both our 1.75 mm and 2.85 mm PLA 3D filaments have a decent amount of tensile strength, meaning it can withstand a fair amount of tension before breaking.
